Amrit Yoga

Breath and body working as one create balance, flexibility and peace. Yoga can bring healing to any body; it’s important to know that a regular practice of yoga will benefit any person. The exercises and breathing techniques of yoga bring your body back to its natural healing state. Every yoga posture (or asana) or breathing exercise clears the energy pathways of the body, releasing old, toxic energy and allows you to move towards health. As you increase your awareness, through the postures and the breath, a shift in your perspective of viewing yourself as “parts and pieces” is made; you begin to see yourself as body, mind, heart and soul, now one being.

For beginners as well as those looking to deepen their practice: Amrit Yoga is focused on intention for healing, going to your physical edge and using the depth of the postures for creating and circulating energy in the body. This style of yoga is unique in focus: in the “second half” of the posture, we go to a place of mediation and deep stillness. This is known as “‘mediation in motion.”
